Until my three part gap year system came along😉

I took three years off before going to university. My first gap year was miserable. I was directionless, stuck at home, and socialized so little I developed a stutter.

By year two I said enough is enough 😤 -

I moved away not for from home and started taking ownership for my future. It was nerve racking at first. Soon, I was having real adventures while building my career and meeting new people. I felt I had cheated the system. I didn't know you could have this much fun while making measurable progress outside school.

🤔In year three I was wondering what I had done differently.

At the time there were no resources online explaining how to take a gap on your own. Just listicles made by companies looking to sell gap year programs for $$$.

I boiled a great gap year down to three parts so anyone human on any budget can have an awesome gap year.
